Catatan tentang sejarah manusia biasanya tercatat dalam sebuah kenangan, apa jadinya jika kenangan itu digabungkan..??
Apa yang akan terjadi..??
Yang jelas.. adalah.. Gabungan dari zaman ke zaman..!!

Itulah mungkin istilah yg paling gampang dari mosaik..
Dulu saya sering sekali membuat mozaik, dan hasilnya saya berikan kepada kekasih saya, yang sudah jadi istri saya.. Tapi sekarang, saya belum sempet untuk membuatnya lagi..

Mosaic is the art of creating images with an assemblage of small pieces of colored glass, stone, or other material. It may be a technique of decorative art, an aspect of interior decoration or of cultural and spiritual significance as in a cathedral. Small pieces, normally roughly cubic, of stone or glass of different colors, known as tesserae, (diminutive tessellae), are used to create a pattern or picture.

Tapi jika anda punya waktu, cobalah berkreasi dan bermain..

Bahan-bahan yang diperlukan / You will need :

• Eggs / kulit telur
• Pencil / pensil
• Card / Kertas gambar
• PVA glue / lem UHU
• Paintbrush / cat air (minyak)
• Coloured food dye (pewarna makanan) Minta bantuan sama papa/ mama ya

Caranya :

Cuci kulit telur yang udah dikelurin isinya [The first thing to do is wash them out... ] Pecahkan kulit telur tadi ya, tapi jangan sampai kecil [Broken eggshells are perfect for mosaics]

Terus, kulit telur tadi di campur sama pewarna makanan yang udah di beri air (inget ya warna-warni lebih asik) [then soak them in beakers of coloured food dye]

Setelah itu, angkat kulit telur yang sudah berubah warna tadi, dan keringkan [When they've been soaking for a while, take them out and leave them to dry on some kitchen towel]

Kemudian buatlah sebuah gambar di kertas gambar [To make a mosaic, design the outline of whatever you fancy on a piece of card]

Setelah gambar selesai, lumurkan lem uhu ke gambar itu..[Paste some PVA glue on a small section, keeping to the lines]

Nah, mulailah menaruh kulit telur itu, digambar itu.. jangan sampai berantakan.. [Begin to lay on pieces of the egg shells.. It can be quite fiddly, so only work on small sections at one time, so that you don't get the rest of the picture messy]

Ingat.. nempelin kulit telurnya jangan sampai keluar dari gambar…[The pieces don't need to fit together perfectly. As long as you stay within the outlines, you'll get a fantastic mosaic effect]

Lebih bagus lagi,kalo setiap gambar berbeda warna.. karena akan membentuk sebuah lukisan..[The idea is to fill in each section with different coloured pieces of shell. Gradually, the picture will start to take shape]
